On the first day of Bhutan Trip, you will ride 154 Km to reach Phuentsholing via Jaigaon.  As you reach there, you will be transferred to the Hotel. In the evening, I enjoy the views of Phuentsholing, which is a small town of Chukha district Bhutan. It is located in southern Bhutan. The main income of this town is generated through cross border trade. The climate remains humid and hot. 

The next day you have to report at Royal Bhutan Government Immigration Office, Phuentsholing, for the permit to enter Bhutan. After such formalities and receiving the permit, your ride will start from Phuentsholing to Thimphu. The distance between Phuentsholing and Thimpu is 150 km. Your actual Bhutan Bike Trip adventure starts from here.  During your four hours journey, you will pass through the beautiful Chukha Dam and also experience beautiful landscapes of the land of the thunder dragon. Till evening you will reach Thimpu and transfer to the Hotel. Thimpu is the capital of Bhutan and the central administration point.

Your next day's ride will be 85 Km from Thimphu to Punakha. After breakfast in the morning, your ride will start. On this day, you will experience the Dochu La pass, which is the second-highest pass of Bhutan. After visiting Punakha, come back to Thimpu for night rest. Then on the fourth-day Bhutan Bike Ride, there will be sightseeing of attractions in and around Thimphu. After sightseeing and a 51 km ride, reach Paro and check-in at Paro hotel. The next day, hike to the Tiger’s nest and explore the area. After a whole day of trekking, head back to the Hotel for rest. On the sixth day, head back to the  Siliguri and night stay at Siliguri hotel. On the seventh day, your trip will conclude at Bagdogra Airport/ NJP Railway Station.

How to Get There
There are two ways to travel to Bhutan from India one is by air, and the other one is by air.  


By Air:
To reach Bhutan by air Kolkata will be the best option as there is a flight available from there on the regular interval. Netaji Subhash Chandra Bose Airport, Kolkata is well connected with the Paro Airport, Paro, Bhutan. There are also connecting flights from Bagdogra, Guwahati, Delhi, Mumbai. From Delhi and Mumbai, flights are limited.

By Road:
If you are going from India to Bhutan by road, then via Jaigaon, West Bengal, you will enter Phuentsholing. At this town, there is an immigration office settled up by the Royal Government of Bhutan. At this office,  you have to produce the id-proof of Indian citizenship, and then after some official formalities permit to visit Bhutan will be granted to you in the form of the document. If you want to visit another area beyond Paro and Thimpu, then you need to obtain another special permit from the authority at Thimpu.
